Student of the Week!
Your child will have a special week all about them! This will be a special week for that student. The week before, I will send home a poster for you and your child to decorate to show all the things that are important to them. (I will send ideas when it is your child's week.)
Monday. . . Your child will get to share his/her poster.
Tuesday. . . Your child may invite someone special to them (a family member or friend) to read a favorite book to the class! This person will be our surprise reader. Our allotted time for this to take place is at 2:10. If this doesn't work, we can try to work out another time. (*This is optional. I understand this may not work for everyone.)
Friday. . . Your child may bring in a Show-and-Tell item to share with the class. (Preferably something special to him/her.)

- We will take each day in September for kids to bring an "All About Me" bag. When it is your child's turn to bring home the bag, he/she may fill it with 3-6 items that tell us a little about themselves. These items could be pictures of special people, places, or events. They could also be favorite toys or stuffed animals. It could be a favorite article of clothing, or it may be an award or even a special gift. We can't wait to hear all about our classmates!
